Random Character Person

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not that fond of OCs... Welp, this is one of the few I have. She has her own story and universe, so I don't place her in other canons/fandoms.  Basically, she's part of a thingie I've made up. I doubt I'm going to make it into a novel or comic or something, but it is fun to draw.

Essentially, her story is that she's an alien from a fictional planet I created, Candentist, located in the Clarum system. As their names suggest (in Latin, Clarum = Clear, bright, Candentist = Glowing), the sentient humanoid beings of the Clarum system are very "bright" creatures, with their lemon-ish skin and light hair, they thrive on light and rarely need to eat. Out of the topaz-like crystals that make up the majority of Candentist's surface, a few rare ones give the residents of the solar system the ability to control light, however, only when they're in close proximity to them (sort of like a reverse Kryptonite for everyone). These crystals are extremely valuable, and only upper-class citizens and families can seem to afford them. This power gained by the nobility of the planet has given them a sense of superiority of sorts, and forced lower-class citizens into oppression. For a bright planet, the reality is, in fact, quite dark.

To summarize her backstory (because I'm dragging this description on longer than it should be), this character lived a normal life by the standards of Clandentist nobility until, at "20" years of age, her younger sister went missing, never to be found in the entire system. She left the Clarum system to search for her in the defiant hope that she's still alive, and that's how she ended up on Earth. There she befriended two humans - a regular boy and a scientist girl. Long story short, she ends up becoming a superhero.

She's actually in her Earth clothes in this picture, which is why her dress looks so normal. XD
